🚨 217 FOODIES FESTIVAL — EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW! 🚨
TOMORROW WE KICK THINGS OFF! 🎉
We’ve been seeing lots of questions about the 217 Foodies Festival, so we wanted to put the answers all in one place!
You can also find even more information by visiting our website and checking out the FAQ section on our main page.
📅 EVENT HOURS
Friday: 4PM–9PM
Saturday: 11AM–9PM
🎟️ ADMISSION IS FREE!
Come hungry and stay awhile!
🚗 PARKING — PLEASE READ!
A small section of our parking lot will be closed off and dedicated to the pop-up vendors joining us for this event.
Our private parking lot will still have parking available, but YES — it will fill up quickly.
We have signs at both the front and back of our lot showing arrows for overflow parking.
🚫 WHERE YOU CANNOT PARK:
• Anywhere marked “NO PARKING”
• Clearly striped/no-parking areas
• Our neighbors’ properties where signs say “TOW AWAY ZONE”
• Anywhere that blocks another vehicle or creates an unsafe situation
Overflow Parking:
📍 Our Commissary Kitchen — 2160 S 6th Street
There is parking in the front and along the side of the building. We’ll have signs to make sure you know you’re in the correct lot.
📍 IDHS — Corner of 6th & Ash
There is additional parking here with a less than 5-minute walk back to the festival.
Seriously — it’s really no further than parking at the very back of the lot on a busy day at Walmart. 😉
There is also limited street parking available.
We will have someone outside helping guide traffic and asking people to move if necessary.
PLEASE be courteous of our space, our neighbors, and everyone’s safety.
Not wanting to park off-property is NOT a reason to create your own parking spot.
If you park in a clearly marked no-parking area, block another vehicle, or park where you are not permitted, you will be towed.
We want everyone to have a great weekend — please help us keep parking safe and organized!
🐶 ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
YES! We are pet friendly! 🐾
Please keep your dog on a leash at all times.
However, this is a busy event with large crowds, lots of people, food, music, and other dogs. If your dog is uncomfortable in large crowds, we recommend leaving them at home so they can stay comfortable and safe.
🍔 WHO WILL BE THERE?
We will have ALL 6 of our permanent vendors PLUS 13 local pop-up food & drink vendors joining us for the festival!
Want to see the full list?
Head to our page → Events → 217 Foodies Festival.
The event description has the complete master list of vendors! We’ve also included a photo of the map in this post to showcase everyone’s location!
📋 WHAT IS EVERYONE SERVING?
The menus for our 6 permanent vendors are posted on our website.
For our pop-up vendors, you’ll need to check directly with each individual vendor for their menu, pricing, ingredients, allergens, and dietary accommodations.
Please ask the vendor directly about any dietary restrictions or ingredient questions. Each vendor (permanent or pop up!) is responsible for their own menu and offerings.
💳 CASH OR CARD?
All of our permanent vendors accept cash AND card.
If one of our pop-up vendors does not accept cards, we have an ATM inside the bar for your convenience.
🪑 WHERE CAN I SIT?
All of our picnic tables and indoor seating are first come, first served.
With the weather looking beautiful, we expect the outdoor seating to fill up first!
Grab a table, grab some food, and enjoy the festival! ☀️🍔
🚻 WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS?
Restrooms are located inside the bar.
👨👩👧👦 IS IT FAMILY FRIENDLY?
Absolutely!
The 217 Foodies Festival is a very family-friendly event and environment. Bring the kids, bring your friends, bring the whole family!
🚨 OUTSIDE FOOD & ALCOHOL
ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR ALCOHOL.
We have an incredible lineup of local food and drink vendors here for you to enjoy, so please leave outside food and alcohol at home.
❤️ ONE LAST THING…
This event is going to be BIG, and we are so excited to bring together so many amazing local food and drink businesses for the 217 Foodies Festival!
Please give yourself a little extra time when arriving, be patient with our staff and vendors, respect our neighbors, and most importantly — choose to be kind 💛
Also of course.. Come hungry.
Come ready to eat.
Come support local.
WE’LL SEE YOU TOMORROW! 🎉🍔🌮🍹
And if you have a question we didn’t answer here, check out the FAQ on our website first — chances are, we’ve already answered it! 😉🙌
