Last night, I had the honor to cater for the Democratic Florida Governor nominee - David Jolly!!

It’s so crazy to think that when I moved here from VA 15 years ago, I had nothing but a 2004 Honda Civic with everything I owned in it on my way to Full Sail University. I didn’t have a place to live and only $300 to my name and no name for myself. I swept the outside of a Winter Park church for $25 a week just so I could eat and buy gas.

Two weeks ago, I got a call to cater for who could be the next Governor of the state of Florida. Life takes you on mysterious paths and I am so thankful for the opportunity.

David Jolly and his 75 guests enjoyed a cocktail menu of: Tomato & Burrata Tartlets, Chicken Satay Skewers, Umami Shrimp, Corn Mochi Waffles, and plenty of Butter Lanterns™ around the area.

Side note: THIS MF CAN DO A SPEECH. He has people in tears and was incredibly moving. No notes on him, paper, or teleprompter. It was just him talking for 20 minutes.

Twas a surreal night. I’m off to cater for a summit of lawyers and then TOMORROW we will be at Milk Mart Spooky Soiree from 12-6p.
