As we prepare for RAÍZ on October 14, we’re excited to welcome Chef Mario Pagán to the Reyes kitchen alongside our very own Chef Wendy Lopez.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Chef Mario has spent more than three decades championing Puerto Rican cuisine, blending the island’s rich culinary traditions with modern techniques and global influences. From acclaimed restaurants in Puerto Rico to appearances on Food Network and collaborations with the James Beard Foundation, his career is a celebration of culture, creativity, and community.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re honored to bring these two talented chefs together for an evening celebrating the traditions, stories, and flavors that connect us to our heritage.
