CREDO Coffee is a social enterprise benefit corporation committed to inspiring the pursuit of meaning, impact and community- through our Coffee and Community Initiatives. We are instigated by our CREDO that says…

Life is worth living. I pursue a life of meaning and purpose, fulfillment and joy. The world is not yet as it ought to be. Neither am I. Yet, I reject apathy and despair. I engage the wo

rld, my city, and myself to make an impact for good. I am not alone. I press through narcissism, isolation and self-sufficiency striving to live in authentic community. We move toward this CREDO with successive small choices, like our cups of coffee. We’re convinced that buying a cup of coffee is a big deal. Our coffee is carried down mountains, shipped across oceans and carefully roasted just for you. Each cup of CREDO coffee not only tastes great, but it has a positive impact on the people who touch it. We build relationships with our growers and suppliers to avoid supporting exploitation of people or environment; and we pay growers as directly as possible to get as much money in their hands as we can. Your coffee purchase always supports a system; our system is making an impact for good.

New coffee alert! This one’s different.
Introducing the Geisha Lavado from Yoiner Mosquera in Palestina, Huila Colombia. Grown at 1650M, fully washed, and sourced through LaREB, a collective we met as participants in the same work, not through a conventional supply chain.
We first crossed paths with LaREB at the I Am a Revolutionary art show at our café in 2024. They didn’t walk in as sales reps. They showed up as part of the same broader project we’re building: culture and networks rooted in struggle against systems that exploit the most vulnerable. That’s the relationship this coffee comes from.
In the cup: jasmine, electric sweetness, ripe pear. Clean and bright with a finish that stays with you.
Geisha is one of the rarest varietals in specialty coffee. Low yields, high labor, a flavor profile that earns the attention. This lot is available now, linked in bio and on the shelves at .drip.coffee

Ever wondered what it’s like to roast your own coffee?

We’re excited to announce our collaboration with Solai Coffee for The Roaster’s Table—a recurring event where we bring the story of coffee full circle.

The best coffees begin in relationship—between grower, roaster, and you. At The Roaster’s Table, we’ll guide you through a cupping session, where you’ll taste multiple coffees, pick your favorite, and then roast it together in real time. Through our partnership with Solai, we’re connecting Orlando directly to the producers whose craft makes each cup possible.

Taste the difference collaboration makes.
Tickets are $80—reserve your spot at solaicoffee.com.

From Seed to Shipyard, Dock to Drip, our coffee is brought to you by the labor of nations to fuel our own.
Every bag reflects the hands of producers, millers, welders, truckers, dockworkers, warehouse crews, and roasters- people whose labor adds real value at every stage of the journey.
At CREDO, we manage the full logistics chain to ensure farmers are paid fairly and directly; no middlemen, no price games, just honest pay for honest work.
This isn't just specialty coffee. It's working coffee. Coffee for teachers, nurses, janitors, mechanics, and line cooks: for the people who keep this country moving.
New coffees arriving this week-fresh harvests from partners we trust, from producers we've stood with for years.
Stay tuned, or don't wait-shop now and keep yourself moving: credocoffeeroasters.com

If you haven't seen yet, I (Nate) started a blog called The CREDO Dispatch! We've undergone some big changes in the last year, and l've found it helpful to take us back to our philosophical roots as we work on plotting out our next steps and future.

This recent issue tackles the idea of where value comes from, and I use coffee, the second most traded commodity in the world, as a case study to explore the broader economic laws and realities that govern us and connect us to each other. It's a narrative that follows coffee from seed to cup and considers the impact of labor on value at every step of the journey.

These concepts are super foundational for CREDO's identity as we examine who we've been to establish who we are. I'd love for you to start at the first Dispatch and read them all, but if you can only handle one, then #004 is the by far the most important so far!

Find them all at https://credo.coffee/pages/the-credo-dispatch (and don't forget to buy some coffee while you're there pls kthxx) and come back here to drop a comment with your thoughts!

Gratitude week pt. 5

We're rounding out this week with our newest partner . and have been part of Cinnabar since year 1, and when we needed a last-minute venue for November they jumped right in. It's been great to circle up at CREDO these past months, and a little reminiscent of our year 2 days in College Park. We're looking forward to the next few months over there, but in the meantime be sure to stop by for coffee or tea or food or to buy some gifts for your people!

Thank you! 20% off coffee, 10% off subscriptions, & site reconstruction coming soon:

A word from our Roaster:

As a Thank You, we’re offering 20% off on coffee, 10% off subscriptions, and free shipping on online orders over $50 from now until November 30th.

This year we’re thankful for a lot of things. One of the wildest things that happened to us this year was the way our community (that’s you!) rallied around us in our time of need. About two months ago, I (Nate) put out a call for aid on social media. The message was picked up by folks all across the country by people who shared it and helped out by buying coffee. You can read more about that weekend and your impact on our small company of workers here in this article (https://www.clickorlando.com/food/2023/09/25/thank-you-so-much-online-plea-for-support-creates-lifeline-for-orlando-coffee-shop/) written after my conversation with local journalist Thomas Mates.

It was phenomenal to see our community turn out for us that week and I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you how your purchases and continued support of our company have impacted us for the better.

Buying coffee is a big deal; here’s how it helped us recently. The stir caused on social media by everyone sharing our story brought a sustained momentum to our cafe on Orange Ave, so much so that we've been busier in the past two months than ever before! I’ve been working long hours to keep up with our growth, and through our sustained success we’ve been able to double the size of our crew. Now our operations are more smooth and effective on the back-end as well as allowing us to provide a better experience for you when you come to visit us. We’ve been able to give much needed raises to our long standing employees and bring our new hires in at a starting rate higher than what used to be our ceiling, raising our average wages by 45%. Next, we’ll be expanding our kitchen hours into Monday and Tuesday starting in December!

Outside the cafe, the influx of online orders helped us get caught up with some outstanding bills that were haunting us from the year’s turmoil. It also set us up to make some much needed improvements in the cafe and reinvest in the company in some keys ways as we move towards greener pastures and settle beside still waters.

We quite literally would not have made it this far without you and your participation in the work we do by completing the supply chain that connects you to the farmers we support across the globe. As a Thank You, we’re offering 20% off all coffee orders from now until November 30th, and free shipping on orders over $50.

Your purchase will have big impacts on us this holiday season as we undergo more changes in the coming months; we’ve got some exciting announcements on the way. In the meantime though, we’ll be shutting down our website on December 1st for some maintenance. We aren’t sure how long it’ll take to get it back online, so if you want to ensure you’ll get your coffee for the next few months we encourage you to check out our 3-6 month subscriptions! You can also email us at [email protected] to place an order anytime until the new site goes live.

Thank you again for your support! Your purchases here at our company go further and are felt more deeply than at corporations and conglomerates. Buying coffee is a big deal: You support us, we support our workers the farmers with whom we trade. It’s that simple.

Check out the online store while you still can!
