We have a kitchen set up and ready to rock!
After 10 years of throwing down, our kitchen was beat up.

Our crew at Curbside owes an extreme debt and gratitude to Gabe Kahae and Hula Grill Hula Chill. Gabe is helping us out by letting us use her original trailer and kitchen while our brick and mortar is finished.

The instrument traces its roots to small Portuguese stringed instruments brought to Hawaiʻi by immigrants from Madeira in the late 1800s. Hawaiians embraced the sound, adapted the instrument, and made the ʻukulele an unmistakable part of Hawaiian music and culture.

Even King Kalākaua helped popularize it by incorporating the ʻukulele into performances at the royal court.

From its Portuguese beginnings to becoming one of the most recognizable sounds of the islands, the ʻukulele has quite a story.
