🔥 One review. One sandwich. One more reason to stop by.

We had a customer send us this after trying the Cranberry Kiss at our Grants Pass location, and honestly... we couldn't keep it to ourselves.

"Wow! Just got the Cranberry Kiss here at the Grants Pass location on Rogue River Hwy. It's soooo good, y'all. Delightfully sweet with just a hint of lemon, which is wonderful. Plenty of turkey and smoked Gouda. Grilled just right. So melty and delicious. Dang, this is a great sandwich. I will have to work my way through the menu and try them all. Go get one!"

That right there is why we do what we do.

Every sandwich is made fresh, grilled to order, and built to be something you actually remember. Whether you're a fan of sweet, savory, spicy, or somewhere in between, we've got a melt waiting for you.

If you've already tried us, tell us your favorite sandwich in the comments. 👇

If you haven't... maybe today is the day you find your favorite.

Come hungry. Leave with a new favorite!

Thanks Donna!

While we were busy grilling cheese today, this was happening just down the road.

A trash truck operator's quick thinking turned what could have been a much worse situation into a controlled response. Instead of putting others at risk, they acted fast, dumped the burning load, and gave firefighters the chance to get it under control.

People often thank firefighters and first responders; and they absolutely deserve it. But today, let's also recognize the sanitation worker whose actions likely prevented far greater damage.

From all of us at The Meltdown, thank you for looking out for our community. We see you, and we appreciate the work you do every day.

If you know the driver, tag them below so we can give them the recognition they deserve. 👏🔥🚛

In case you missed it... 👀
The word is getting out.

We love hearing honest reactions from people trying The Meltdown for the first time, and this one says it all.

"Their sandwiches are awesome."

He came for a beef melt... stayed talking about the Sweet Heat sauce. That's exactly the kind of feedback that keeps us pushing to make every sandwich better than the last.

If you haven't made it out yet, now's the time.

📍 The Mixed Grill – Grants Pass

🚨 PSA! 🚨

The Meltdown is at The Mixed Grill. I repeat...

📍 THE MIXED GRILL.

We're not in the food truck today. We're serving out of The Mixed Grill's kitchen, so come inside, place your order, and let us melt your lunch the way it was meant to be.

And yes... we finally have actual to-go boxes! 😅

Huge thanks to Nik for making that happen. It's the little things that make a big difference when you're building something from the ground up.

Today's lineup includes: 🧀 The OG Melt 🔥 The Sweet Heat 🍒 Cranberry Kiss 🥓 Bacon Jammer 🥩 Roast Beef & Cheddar

See you at The Mixed Grill. Come hungry. 🍞🧀🔥

🔥 TWO LOCATIONS TODAY! 🔥

We've heard from a few people that they went looking for a food truck at The Mixed Grill and thought we weren't there.

Good news... we're there!

The Meltdown is operating out of The Mixed Grill's kitchen, so just head inside and order. No truck required. 😄

You can also find us at our home location at Rally at ETHOS so you've got two chances to get your grilled cheese fix today.

Today's featured menu:

🧀 The OG Melt
The one that started it all. Cheddar, mozzarella, and sourdough. Simple, classic, and loaded with perfectly melted cheese.

🔥 The Sweet Heat
Turkey, bacon, cheddar, cream cheese, and our house-made guava habanero jelly. Sweet, smoky, creamy, with just enough heat to keep you coming back.

🥓 The Bacon Jammer
Sharp cheddar, bacon jam, bacon, and ham on grilled sourdough. Rich, savory, smoky, and one of our biggest crowd favorites.

🍒 The Cranberry Kiss
Turkey, smoked gouda, cream cheese, and our lemon cranberry jelly. Sweet, tangy, creamy, and surprisingly addictive.

Can we make anything else?
With today's ingredients, we can also build:

🥪 Turkey Gouda (turkey, smoked gouda, tomato, onion, pepperoncini)

The Garden Melt will be back another day.

One more thing...

We're not offering wraps today. We quickly discovered our current tortillas just aren't big enough for these sandwiches, and we'd rather serve something we're proud of than something that doesn't meet our standards. Bigger tortillas are already on the list.

See you at Rally at ETHOS or inside The Mixed Grill today! Which sandwich are you ordering first? 🍞🧀

The other night, I was closing down the truck and had one of those "newbie" question, so I called THE MAN. Some know him as Patrick from Jimmy's Classic Drive-In.

I've know him for a little while, but more importantly, cares about his community, and his food, so he was happy to help.

In the past, I spent some time researching where our money goes after we spend it.

"Food trucks are uniquely powerful in local economies because their operational structure keeps nearly every dollar local. Ingredients, fuel, repairs, licensing, equipment, and labor all originate within the region. A single thriving food truck like Blaze-N-Monkey’s can produce several layers of reinvestment simply by operating here – and because their supply chain is so compact, very little money leaves the area.

When you compare a national chain's 1.1× multiplier to a local restaurant's 1.5× multiplier, the difference becomes dramatic over time. If a household spends $200 per month on dining out, switching even one meal per month to a local restaurant creates more local wages, more vendor purchases, and more community-level reinvestment—all without changing total spending.

This section is not about eliminating national chains. Rather, it's about recognizing that locally owned restaurants are economic engines, and small shifts in where we eat can generate outsized benefit for our region."

That's part of why The Meltdown was built the way it was.

Instead of outside investors, we asked the community to help build it. Every Founder helps create another locally owned business that buys from other local businesses, hires local people, and keeps more dollars moving through Southern Oregon.

We're close, but we're not finished.

There are still 38 Founder spots available.

If you've been watching from the sidelines, this is your chance to help build something that belongs to the community from day one.

🧅 Grilled onions
🧀 Mozzarella + cotija
🌶️ Guava habanero cream cheese
🍞 Grilled sourdough

All that bold flavor for just $13. Come Rally at ETHOS!

Okay pheople... most of you already know Nik. Now it's time to get to know the rest of the team.

One of the best decisions we've made was bringing Brie on board. The more people I talk to, the more I realize how many of you already know and respect her. "Employee" doesn't even feel like the right word... she's a teammate, and we're lucky to have her. And that probably doesn't even begin to cover it.

There's also Rich... self proclaimed pepper head and poet... but maybe not... lol.

Building a business has never been about one person. It's about surrounding yourself with people you trust, and we're excited for you to meet ours.

To include:
Rally at ETHOS
Wakasa
Scoops & More Trailer Phoenix, OR
Brother’s Bento and Tacos
Got Balls Meatball Truck
Onyx Barber Company
The Mixed Grill

Interested in one... or all of them? Come eat, drink, hang out, support local, or maybe even find your next job. The more we support each other, the stronger this community becomes.

The music is live and the good vibes are rolling all night at Rally at ETHOS.

Come see us at The Meltdown, kick back with a cold drink, and support the incredible local musicians keeping Southern Oregon rocking.

This is what community looks like—great food, live music, and local people showing up for each other.
