A year ago today, a tornado changed the Delmar Maker District forever.

I still remember walking these streets after the storm. The damage was heartbreaking. Places we love torn apart overnight.

But what I remember even more is what came after.

Neighbors helping neighbors. Small businesses showing up for each other. People volunteering, donating, checking in, lending a hand however they could.

This community never stopped fighting for this neighborhood.

A year later, we’re still rebuilding. Still supporting one another. Still believing in what this neighborhood means to St. Louis.

There’s a long way to go, but there’s also something beautiful about seeing people come together when it matters most.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Delmar Maker District and the small businesses that call it home.
