Got a real nice chanterelle pizza on the menu right now with caramelized onions and rosemary. You know… rosemary always gets typecast as a winter flavor, but it grows in the summertime. Anyway, don’t think this one will be around too long so come and get it while you can get it. And as always, if you can get a rezzie, come in for lunch!

Simple summertime comfort food. Some creamy mozzarella, a pile of thin zucchini ribbons. When it bakes, some zucchini water is released and melds into the cheese below ever so subtly. Let’s talk meatballs. The base of our recipe originates from our friend Anthony Falco ’s grandma who grew up in Texas. That means, you guessed it, they’re all beef (no veal, and no pork either). But Texas is far, so one of our spins on her recipe is our use of Slagel Farms beef. Slagel Farms is not only a fifth generation family farm producing all-natural hormone-free beef, but they also grind us a custom blend of beef to give us the perfect amount of fat for our meatballs. There’s a lot more that goes into our most popular starter, so come try them and see if you can decipher any of the other ingredients.

Market pizza for Saturday is gonna be DANG GOOD! We’re featuring the top notch produce from our market buddies Dang Good Produce which is two or three booths down from us. With all the peak season produce on here this pizza is so so good. It’s a bed of mozzarella topped with roasted veg - eggplant, sweet peppers, onions, and cherry tomatoes, all from Dang Good Produce and I don’t know how else to say it other than don’t miss this one. Only available at Tower Grove Farmers' Market this Saturday from 8:00-12:30 and yes this is a perfect well rounded breakfast.

This pizza is about to be an instant classic. And quite frankly…it’s about to define your summer. The Eckert's Country Store & Farms peaches are perfect as always, but the rockstar is the STL Toasted porchetta. Maybe the best porchetta outside of Ariccia and it’s made down the block. The Italian herbs, the sweet tangy peaches that cut through the fatty pork belly. So simple yet so complex. Big thank you to STL Toasted for giving us the honor to highlight this rarity in St Louis. And please, pair it with a bottle of Lambrusco. ✌🏼

Everybody’s asking so here are the details for the spritz party on Saturday. It’s SAN LUIGI SPIRITS first birthday party so we’re bringing in a DJ to spin some Italo Disco classics! There will be a build-your-own-spritz bar featuring the entire San Luigi catalog, and you get a free aperitivo snack with the purchase of a spritz. You can also order off of our menu. This is a FREE event, and we will not be taking patio reservations. Bottles will be available for purchase. And finally, the timeframe is tight so don’t be late!
