On October 17th, Joey Chestnut comes to Salvage Yard Bar and Grill to take on the Junk Yard Dog, our 8 pound Chicago-style deep dish, with some of St. Louis' best eaters tackling the monster right alongside him.

Something magical is brewing at Salvage Yard. 🧙‍♂️✨

From October 18th through November 1st, we're transforming into A Wizarding Halloween Pop-Up Bar. Think butterbeer, firewhisky, and an atmosphere straight out of your favorite wizarding world, poured right here among the gears.

Costumes are encouraged (honestly, expected). Grab your crew and your cloak and come experience it before it vanishes.

There is very little Cody Dulaney won't eat. 💪

The world's hottest chip? Done. Reaper-infused rum? Done. A cactus? Somehow, done. St. Louis knows him as , and he's built a following by saying yes to challenges most people wouldn't touch.

On October 17 the challenge is 8 pounds of deep-dish in 45 minutes, and he'll be taking it on alongside Joey Chestnut at the 1st Annual Junk Yard Dog Contest. No heat this time. Just a whole lot of pizza. 🍕

Meet Kyle "The Hammer" Hanner 🍕💪

Kyle "The Hammer" Hanner has been eating competitively in St. Louis for over a decade. He once helped take down a 28-inch pizza in less than 12 minutes and has collected more contest wins than we have bar stools.

Now he's got 45 minutes and an 8 pound Chicago deep-dish. He'll be taking on the challenge alongside Joey Chestnut at the 1st Annual Junk Yard Dog Contest on October 17.
