Hey. So today a few of you had to wait an extra long time for your food. We are terribly sorry. We know that nobody wants excuses but we do want to offer an explanation. For one, we were hammered with in house business which was absolutely amazing. You have no idea how nice it is seeing your faces.
Unfortunately at a certain point we got hit with a plethora of online and delivery orders. Also awesome. But it was a surge we just couldn't quite handle. We dont run into this problem often and are usually ready for it. To be 1000% honest, our business has changed so much since the construction started. This isn't a post initiating discussion of the project, whether we need or want it or whether its being executed properly...ahem... but it is the truth. Even during covid we knew which days would justify extra staff and product. Tbh now, we may have 2 or 3 days where we see 30 people. The staff is tired of coming to work for an hour and getting cut so we scale back. Then, we have a day like today that was insane! Again, we're not attempting to make excuses. If you waited extra long today, email us at [email protected] and we can chat about it. We just wanted everyone to understand that we are not incompetent (well maybe Paul) we are just trying to navigate these crazy times. Anyways we're sorry. Tomorrow we are fully staffed, the special is going to be amazing, its supporting a great cause and its an easy pick up so it'llbe a smooth service..
