Behind every great restaurant is an incredible team. Today we’re highlighting a few of the people who help make every experience at Robert special.
Edgar, our bartender, has been with Robert since opening day in December 2009. His favorite dish on the menu is the filet mignon. Working alongside him is his daughter Shirley, a manager who joined the team in 2015. Shirley’s favorite dish is the tuna tartare, which she loves for its fresh, light balance. For Shirley, hospitality means making every guest feel welcomed and cared for, paying attention to even the smallest details.
Sean, one of our servers, joined Robert in January 2024. His favorite dish is the beet salad, and he describes hospitality as making guests feel like they’ve come home. One of his favorite memories was helping create the perfect moment for a couple celebrating a marriage proposal at his table.
Avery, part of our host team for the past three and a half years, says their favorite part of working at Robert is the people- and of course the desserts. Avery’s go-to menu item is the chicken sandwich.
