Had quite the moment learning about Soviet era build quality from Russian/Ukraine manufactured cassette gear. Luckily one of our customers speaks the language and is an electrical engineer. Can’t wait to talk about gear with people that goes beyond espresso/brew machines.

Tape correspondence in the 80s/90s was vital for pushing movements forward. This is the Vesna 309-4

Hey everyone — after some consideration we’re postponing the Protest Power Cassette/Zine Workshop (4/25).

We want to give this event the time and care it deserves, especially with how hands-on and meaningful the context is for the members of our Memphis communities. A new date is coming soon, and your spot will carry over if you signed up (we’ll have options if it doesn’t work for you). We just need more time to prepare!

To all of our guests and vendors who have signed up - we cannot thank you enough for RSVPing for this workshop and we really appreciate the support and your patience — we’re looking forward to making this together and ways we can support the organizations planning to attend in the future 🖤 check y’all’s emails for ongoing updates!

Thank you again!
