We are a lil cafe on East Colfax, serving up locally roasted coffees from Conscious and Jubilee, espresso drinks, smoothies, burritos, beer, wine, Bhakti and Sanctuary Chai, housemade kahlua, and a fully stocked whiskey bar! โ€œMonstersโ€ are one of the oldest story-telling devices. They are used to explain the unknown. They are used as warnings for children. They are often misunderstood. They sometimes hide in plain sight. As we get older, we are told they arenโ€™t real. Monsters Donโ€™t Stay Under the Bed explores how monsters have evolved from folklore and how our perception of monsters change as we age.

For October, letโ€™s celebrate those monsters who are misunderstood and reveal those who think they can hide their monstrosity!

We are accepting any form of art as long as it can be hung on the walls and can fit through the door. You may submit up to 5 pieces for consideration.
