Tucked into the vineyards at Weingut Steininger in Loisium, Austria is a special section planted exclusively for Trummer’s Restaurant. These grapes are grown and pressed to create our Steininger Ried Loisium Grüner Veltliner — a crisp, vibrant wine we’re proud to pour by the glass here in Clifton.

These photos feature our vineyard sign alongside owner Karl Steininger, whose family has been crafting exceptional Austrian wines for generations.

Bright, mineral-driven, and endlessly drinkable, this Grüner is perfect on its own or paired with favorites like our Wiener Schnitzel or the crisp Tuscan Kale Salad.

This month we’re celebrating the perfect Spring ingredient: Alliums — the bold, aromatic family of onions, garlic, shallots, ramps, and their wild cousins.
