Tom and Judy McNamara ran a general store in Clifton for two decades. When they were ready to sell it in 2008, their son, Sean, decided their building would be the perfect place to open up a restaurant. When you enter the Main Street Pub, you’ll notice that we still keep a tiny shop up front. During the warmer months, you can enjoy drinks on our patio, and when it’s cold, the warmth of our staff is sure to keep you cozy. Our burger has been awarded one of the best in the D.C. area, and our wine and draft beer selection pair nicely with our menu. Sean’s three siblings are all part of the team, too, making each dining experience truly feel like you’re with family. Come by for a sandwich or a friendly pint of beer and discover Clifton’s most unique dining destination.
