“American Deli could never”…..That’s how we met Tony.. Back in 2021, Tony wasn’t an employee. He was just a customer who kept pull’n up after dance practice recording videos and yelling, “American Deli could never!”

We loved his vibe. We loved his heart. We loved his aesthetic . We knew he was made to represent our front of house … Who would’ve thought that same MF would go on to spend the next 5 years working at THE BANDO and soon moving into management? Tony you BANDO FAMILY 4eva.

Tony wasn’t just a cashier. He became fam. He watched this business grow from the ground up. He stood with us through the good, the bad, and the moments nobody ever see online. He was here when we lost people we loved.He was here through water outages, power outages, crazy nights, stressful mornings, community givebacks, empty dining rooms, n everything in between.

Kids all up n down MLK know Tony. Customers know Tony. The community know Tony. And most importantly...We know Tony HEART.

Real s**t we weren’t aint always perfect. It was times we should’ve had yo back more. Times we could’ve communicated better. Times we could’ve done more for you. For those moments, we’re sorry frfr.

But, one thing we’ve never questioned is how much we love you. From the Uber rides to helping whenever life got hard... We’ve always had each others back.

You were one of the very 1st faces in a Bando commercial. You helped create the culture people experience today. 5 years in fast food is almost unheard of. 5 years of loyalty, consistency, n smiles deserves more than just a handshake.

Many people ask, why do we only have one location? It’s simple… what we have can’t be duplicated n we ain’t tryna…

Every single day we walk outside our restaurant boys from the neighborhood, boys from the community, and boys from Atlanta flood us with love. They want to work at the store. They want to pick up trash at the store. They want to get off the streets and be a part of The Bando. The love from the community cannot be mimicked.

Every year we take new boys from the neighborhood and mentor them give them jobs and mold them. This is what the world don’t see.

We’re not in competition with no other restaurant in Atlanta. Our mentorship alone sets us apart. Remember, when you visit THE BANDO, you’re not just getting WINGS you’re helping keep these boys busy and off the streets this summer.

Picture it, January 2021. The Bando had only been open for about 90 days. It was middle of COVID-19. Everyone wearing face masks. But we were new. We were a family. We were learning we were growing. It was chaotic. It was messy. It was love. It was pain. It was long hours. It was problematic. COVID-19 made us who we are today fr. Bonded for life, 1 staff.
