Mushroom season is in full swing and our forager Zak Mooney has dropped off a bountiful batch of ceps at The Kitchin 🍄‍🟫

Because of Scotland’s cooler climate, ceps tend to peak earlier than other parts of the UK, often hitting their stride at the start of September. Ceps are known for their deep, savoury flavours and nutty undercurrents, and mild, woody notes which come from their symbiotic relationship with tree roots.....

This festive season, we are proud to once again support Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas appeal. From now until Christmas, £5 per person from every Set Lunch Experience at The Kitchin will be donated directly to help ensure no child wakes up without a gift to open on Christmas Day.✨

We’re incredibly proud to share that our Head Sommelier at The Kitchin, Joel Bastian has been recognised as the UK’s 5th Top Sommelier, and the leading sommelier in Scotland.

Sommeliers from across the country gathered at the Top 100 Sommeliers awards ceremony this week, hosted by Sommelier Edit which celebrated the stars of the industry.

Joel has been part of Kitchin Group for more than 14 years, and continues to share his skills, expertise, knowledge and passion with our entire team.
