Heading into winter, we are very excited to share our special New Year’s Eve Hogmanay menu as well as our casual New Year’s Day brunch menu- and like many places our opening hours will change a little bit after the 23rd of Dec so here are our opening hours up until January 4th 2026! Spaces for Hogmanay are now pretty limited but we have a earlier and a later sitting for our feast of the seven fishes - we anticipate being fairly busy on New Year’s Day, but you never know if you fancy a walk in we might be able to accommodate you, but probably best for the next few weeks to book ahead! Looking forward to getting the decorations and lights up at the restaurant in the next few weeks, our à la carte menu will run as normal on all other dates with a couple of seasonal specials and cocktails. Our first Christmas at Barry Fish and oh what a year ❤️ 🎄

Our first winter season at Barry Fish, oh how to mark this special occasion? Well first of all the essential stuff! The opening hours schedule.. we are open as usual throughout December- so a la carte dinner service Tuesday and Wednesday and lunch and dinner service Thursday, Friday and Saturday right up until and including dinner on Tuesday, the 23rd of December.. then 24th, 25th, 26th December we are closed to see our loved ones. We reopen for lunch and dinner on Saturday the 27th of December and then we shake it up a bit… we are open for our first ever Sunday dinner service on the 28th, closed Monday the 29th and open for dinner service Tuesday 30th and then….Hogmanay celebrations this year! Welcome to THE FEAST OF THE SEVEN FISHES - our five part Hogmanay menu with a 6 pm service for those celebrating early with us and heading onwards to parties and a 9 pm service for those who wish to see in the bells and enjoy a toast with us all here at Barry Fish, we will post the special menu soon and hogmany dinner is priced at £75 per person for the five course menu. On Thursday, the 1st of January its NEW YEARS DAY GREATEST FISH MENU - a very Barry brunch ish menu served all day.. lots of cocktails, lots of tunes and very relaxed. We open for lunch and dinner à la carte on Friday the 2nd and Saturday, the 3rd of January.. and then all will go dark and quiet at Barry Fish for three weeks… the team will rest, celebrate and recharge for some pretty special first anniversary celebrations when we reopen at the end of January. our Christmas decorations will go up at the start of November when we begin adding in a few festive specials. Barry and the team cannot wait to welcome you all to the restaurant this winter. Expect all the things you already love and enjoy about Barry Fish, come with your friends and loved ones but we cannot accommodate any large group bookings which means that your ambience, meal and service experience with us are kept high. Raise a glass with us, we are nothing without you all X !

We were so excited this week to welcome to Barry Fish. A joy to have him with us, incredibly generous with his time and incredible skills but also fun, sharp as a tack and inspirationa and a very good friend to us in terms of advice when we were setting up. Dan created a stunning six part menu with the whole team, lamb butchery, fish butchery, sauce, pastry and larder- the whole team together. Huge thanks to our brilliant rm .marrum for the incredible drinks pairing menu, the whole team and all 40 guests who came. Team Ashmore!

We are celebrating Albarino day here at with - our brilliant restaurant manager .marrum has been working with on how best to bring this to life and so for much of early August, we will have these incredible wines as well as some changing big spanish style snacks which we start off tonight. Boquerones! With some pickled garlic, blanched tomatoes and a decadent mousse made with smoked cream and albarino , absolutely perfect with a glass of …… ALBARINO . Huge thanks to Manon for bringing yet more content and options to our wee restaurant. Celebremos albarino hoy!
