Our message today comes with heavy hearts
Last night we found out that one of our staff had lost their mom suddenly
Brandon, is an amazing young man, with strong character and compassion for everyone around him.
He came to Quesnel  to stay with his uncle and find work .
Over the last nine months he has become like part of the family to us Brandon had finally saved up enough money to take a holiday and get to see his mom in Alberta.
They were going camping first, and then to Alberta to see her and back to Quesnel.
When he went camping, he was offered a job that would further his career, but it meant not being able to go to Alberta to see his mom.
We were also so proud of him for getting this job as he is an extremely intelligent and amazing young man.
Brandons mom Lori Wallace passed away suddenly August 10  I don’t even have the words to express what he’s probably going through right now.
I’m posting this because this young man desperately wants to get home so that he can make his mother‘s funeral arrangements and give her the funeral that she deserves.
This is a heavy burden for such a young man to have to deal with
I am reaching out to our amazing community to ask you to help him in his time of need.
It doesn’t matter how small the donation it will all add up so that hopefully we can get this young man home to his mom.
There is a GoFundMe page set up for Lori Wallace. We will also have a collection cup at the restaurant and I will also put Brandon’s email at the end of this if you want to etransfer directly. If you can’t help that’s OK but if you can, that would be amazing. He really is an amazing young man that deserves the help.
