Begbie's Bar & Restaurant is not going to talk or post about this anymore after this post.
Since we are getting so many comments it is very hard for us to answer every single one so we decided to post about this to answer everybody at the same time.
First of all, thanks to everybody who helped us find out who this woman is. It is great to see all your comments and opinions.
Even if we agree about the fact that it is not okay that she is stealing, not just from us but also from other people, we do not want to foster hatred, discrimination or bad energy towards others in the comments, that's why we tried to delete some very ugly comments, but since there are a lot, it is difficult for us to do so.
Canada —and Quesnel—is a very diverse place. Just because one person committed a theft, it doesn't mean everyone is like that. While this individual is no longer welcome at our establishment—and the same applies to her daughter—we believe that everyone has the right to be served, regardless of where they come from.
There are good people everywhere in the world and we'll be waiting to see you all here at Begbie's enjoying our food.
