We're open today. 🍔

The last 24 hours have been something else. So many of you reached out, checked in, offered help, and shared the post. We saw all of it, and we're grateful.

Quick update: no, the router did not come back. Neither did a handful of other things, including a wheelchair and our beloved front desk hand sanitizer. Still the strangest item on that list.

But thanks to CityWest and a few of our crew members pulling an overnighter, we're back up and running. Doors open as scheduled this week.

We do have camera footage of the thieves. We've opted to hold off on putting their faces up publicly, but the RCMP has it.

Thanks for having our backs, Rupert. Ready to kick some buns and grill up some mean burgers for y'all!

Hey Rupert.

Not so friendly news.

We had a break-in at OV early this morning around 6:30am. Nobody was hurt, and most of what was taken can be replaced. One thing can't be, at least not fast: a small white router that runs everything behind the scenes here.

Whoever has it can't do anything with it. It's not worth any money. But without it we're scrambling to get open this week without it.

Here's what it looks like: a small white cube, roughly the size of a coffee mug, round screen on the front, AmpliFi written on it.

If you spot one somewhere it doesn't belong, see one pop up for sale around town, or have overnight camera footage near 1st Ave W, we'd really appreciate a heads up. Drop it back, leave it at the door, no questions asked.

Thanks for looking out for us. This town always does.

Canada is in the Round of 16 and we are opening early for it. 🇨🇦⚽

Tomorrow, Canada takes on Morocco in the FIFA World Cup, and we’ll have the doors open at 10:00 AM so everyone can watch together.

And yes, we’ll be serving food and drinks.

We made a burger that feels like summer in Italy. 🇮🇹

Meet Tuscan Summer.

Smashed beef patty, melted provolone, caramelized onions, arugula, crispy fried prosciutto, sun-dried tomato aioli, and a balsamic drizzle on a toasted brioche bun.

It’s fresh, rich, and basically a tiny Italian vacation between two buns.
