Remembering Dr. Riann de Klerk
Riann accidentally stumbled upon our roastery one day, but he quickly fell in love with our journey. He resonated deeply with our passion and carried our brand into a new area, where it boomed purely through his shared enthusiasm and his firm belief that, for no reason at all, should his friends and community drink bad coffee.
His belief in what we do was so strong that he championed our brand as if it were his own. Perhaps that is because his own life reflected the very epitome of what we strive to be: Bold, Humble, and a Community where you truly belong.
Losing a loyal customer who becomes a genuine friend, an advocate, and a Brother is a profound loss for our close-knit business and community.
If he meant this much to us, we can only imagine how much more he meant to his lovely wife, Jeanne, and their children. Our deepest, most sincere condolences go out to his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
