Virginia Beach’s first play cafe!!! Follow along to get updates on our journey to opening!

Almost there… 🥹🌳

If you’re wondering what it looks like to open a play cafe behind the scenes, our house is about 80% village and 20% house 😅.
We’ve been ordering & stacking boxes anywhere they’ll fit (including a full storage unit) so that the second the space is ready, we can get everything over there and start putting The Village together!

Our floors are going in today, walls are painted, furniture is ready to be built, play spaces are ready to start coming to life, and all those little details we’ve been planning for months are finally about to have a home 💚

We know the biggest question is “WHEN ARE YOU OPENING?!” And trust us… we are just as ready as you are 😂. We’re still pushing for the very first weekend of October, but we have a few final steps with inspections & the health department that make it hard for us to give an exact date.

So while we can’t officially circle a day on the calendar, we CAN say we are moving as quickly as humanly possible over here 😅

For now, enjoy this look into our very glamorous Village warehouse… otherwise known as our living room 😂

We’re SO close… keep an eye out for more updates as things come together in the space! We can’t wait to show you 💚

We are so excited to be partnering with Tumbeezy Cookies to bring their specialty cookies to the cafe! You’ll be able to grab one of their delicious, creative flavors right here at the Village. Because we think coffee + cookies + play sounds like a pretty perfect combo 🤗☕️🍪

Meet our village: Freckled Fun 🎈✨

Owned and operated by a local Virginia Beach Mama, Freckled Fun specializes in custom balloon installations and backdrops, creating stunning displays that transform the look of your event. Their designs add the perfect finishing touch to any celebration from birthdays to baby showers, or any other special event.

We are SO excited to announce this collab with Freckled Fun to make celebrating at The Village even better. Supporting local businesses in the community is at the heart of what we do, that’s why in addition to their balloon decor being an add on for your event, a small balloon stack will be included in our Villager party package (Tier 2), and a large set up with backdrops will be included in our Village Celebration (Top Tier).
