🎶 Summer nights on the lawn are almost here. 🎶

Mark your calendars—one of Shore Drive's favorite summer traditions returns to TASTE Bayville Farms on Friday, July 10.

This year, you'll be enjoying the music on our freshly refreshed lawn as we kick off the season with Allen Hudson and the Halfmoons, followed by a summer full of great local music, burgers and hot dogs on the grill, a beer and wine tent, lawn games, and plenty of opportunities to gather with friends, family, and neighbors.

Admission is free, and dogs are welcome on the lawn. 🐾

Today, we'd like to give an extra special shoutout to the incredible dads of TASTE. Whether they're opening stores before sunrise, serving guests, delivering catering orders, baking, cooking, leading teams, or working behind the scenes, they show up every day with dedication, heart, and a commitment to taking care of others.

Today, we recognize Juneteenth and celebrate freedom, resilience, and progress.

Pictured is Emancipation Oak in Hampton, Virginia, where newly freed people gathered to hear the first Southern reading of the Emancipation Proclamation.

We honor the history this day represents and the enduring contributions of Black Americans to our communities and country.

Tall ships are pulling into the Lynnhaven Roads RIGHT NOW for Sail250, and tomorrow Harborfest kicks off for the whole weekend. Oh, and did we mention? Today also happens to be International Picnic Day. 🧺
