Not Your Typical Christmas Photo Setup!

We're getting the greenhouse ready for winter photo sessions, and I wanted to share a little sneak peek of what we're planning!

Think simple winter greenery, cozy touches, and just enough Christmas without going overboard.

Our greenhouse is available for photographers to rent this November! Whether you're planning Christmas minis, family photos, or just want something a little different for your sessions, we'd love to have you.

Families, ask your favorite photographer! Moms tag your husband, he may need a hint.

The greenhouse was used for our family pictures with Jess & Jenn Photography last month.

I have a few things to finish up and another chandelier to install but then I’ll be decorating it for winter 🌲 portraits!

I've put in some hours in the greenhouse to turn it into a useful space!

This November I’m opening it up for photographers (or content creators) to rent for Christmas and winter sessions!

I’ll have it decorated and ready to use, but I’m keeping everything pretty natural and cozy so it can work for winter photos without screaming Christmas. Photographers are also welcome to move things around, use what I have, or bring in some of their own props and decor.

Rental is $65/hour with a 2-hour minimum, and then $50 for each additional hour after that. You can book your block of time and schedule as many of your own clients during it as you’d like.

I’m starting with November dates and seeing how this goes! The 15th is already booked, and November 26–27 won’t be available.

The greenhouse is here in Troy, and I’m really excited to see what everyone creates with it.

If you’re a photographer and want to grab a date, just send me a message! And if you know a photographer who might want to use it for minis, tag them so they see it.

Your girl put in some sweat and wants to see it be worth the effort. Also, she's gonna need some extra ca-ching with upcoming medical expenses.

Well, folks. It’s not great news and I’m not surprised. But, I’m also a pessimist. 😏

I’ll need surgery for the thyroid cancer that they still can’t definitively say is in fact cancer. 🙄 Either way the dr wants to take half, look at it with a pathologist and then while I’m still in OR determine if they need to take all of it.

So, I will not be taking soup orders as planned for this month and next. This is kind of taking up all my extra mental real estate and I’m not sure I have it in me to be that organized at this time.

I will occasionally bake so if you feel up to supporting me that way, I’d appreciate it! I’m also finalizing the photo 📷 rental greenhouse today so please send any photographers my way.

I appreciate all your support over the years and good vibes sent my way. And if you’ve experienced thyroid cancer please feel free to reach out and share your story!

This isn’t my first cancer diagnosis but for some reason it’s seems to be harder dealing with it mentally and emotionally than before. Maybe it’s just because I hit 40 this year and it all seems heavy.

Anyway, that’s enough whining from me. I want you to know I appreciate every one of you who is still following along and active in my journey!

But, also send someone to come clean up this post-festival mess in my craft room. 😆
