FEATURED

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I also like to think of it as Breast Health Awareness Month.

All the pink ribbons can be a beautiful reminder, but sometimes they show up on foods, products, and other things that don’t necessarily support health.

I think this month should also be about taking a more meaningful and proactive approach to breast health.

That means paying attention to the things that truly support the body like lowering inflammation, supporting healthy lymph flow, looking at hormonal balance, reducing toxic load when possible, nourishing yourself well, and staying aware of the changes your body may be showing you.

That’s one of the reasons I love thermography. It gives us another look at breast health by measuring physiologic heat patterns in the body and gives us another piece of information to follow over time.

There is no radiation, no compression, and nothing touches the breast.

I’ve been really busy getting everyone in this month and still have quite a few people who want to schedule, so I’ve decided to extend my $30 off any thermography study special through the end of November.

If you’ve been wanting to be more proactive about your breast health, this is a great time to get on the calendar.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — or as I like to call it, Breast Health Awareness Month.

It’s such a good reminder to be a little more proactive about our breast health and pay attention to what our bodies may be telling us.

Thermography gives us a different look at breast health by measuring physiologic heat patterns rather than structure. We’re looking at things like temperature, circulation, vascular patterns and symmetry that can provide another piece of information to follow over time.

I especially love being able to look at the bigger picture with women — things like hormonal changes, lymph congestion and other factors that may be influencing breast health — and help them understand what their report may be showing and what their next steps could be.

There’s no radiation, no compression, and nothing touches the breast.

And yes… I had to have a little fun with this one. Get those puppies checked!

To celebrate Breast Health Awareness Month, I’m offering $30 off any thermography study through the end of October.

What if you could actually see how your breast health patterns change over time?

Six months ago, this client came in for her first thermography scan and established her baseline.

After that first scan, she began making some supportive changes for her overall breast health. She now gets weekly lymphatic massage, dry brushes, rebounds, and about five weeks ago she also started HRT.

When she came back for her 6-month follow-up, you could really see the difference in her thermal patterns.

This is why establishing a baseline is so important. Thermography isn’t just about getting a one-time answer and walking away. We can compare your scans over time, watch for changes in your thermal patterns, and talk about supportive things you can do for your breast health — like improving lymphatic flow, movement, hormone support, and other healthy lifestyle changes.

Then, when you come back for your follow-up, you may actually be able to see how those changes are reflected in your thermal patterns.

I love being able to help women be proactive about their breast health instead of waiting until they notice a change or symptom.

$30 OFF ANY SCAN through the end of October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

No radiation. No compression. Non-invasive.

Have you ever wondered if thermography might be right for you?

Maybe you just feel “off,” but your bloodwork keeps coming back normal.

Maybe you have dense breasts and have been called back for extra mammograms, ultrasounds, or biopsies.

Maybe you’re dealing with inflammation, hormonal changes, digestive issues, lymph congestion, thyroid concerns, TMJ, circulation changes, or ongoing discomfort and you’re looking for another piece of information about what your body may be showing.

I’m Jody Hart, CCT, owner of Treasure Coast Thermography here in Stuart.

Thermography is a non-invasive imaging tool that looks at physiologic heat patterns in the body. There is no radiation and no compression.

That’s what makes it different.

Traditional imaging looks primarily at structure and anatomy. Thermography looks at patterns of heat and temperature on the surface of the body, which can give us another perspective on areas that may deserve a closer look, especially when you’re trying to be proactive before symptoms or concerns become more significant.

I take a functional approach because I don’t just want to look at one isolated area. I want to look at the bigger picture and help you understand whether there are patterns related to breast health, inflammation, circulation, thyroid, digestive health, hormonal changes, lymph congestion, teeth/TMJ, muscular stress, and more.

I also believe in looking beyond the report itself. When patterns show up, I like to help you look at the bigger picture, explore what may be contributing to them, and support you in taking steps that may help improve those patterns over time.

If you have been feeling like you want to look a little deeper, or you have been curious about thermography, I would love to help you get started.

We offer breast, upper body, and full body studies for women and men.

Did you know September is Healthy Aging Month?

Healthy aging isn’t just about adding years to your life. It’s about supporting how your body functions along the way.

Thermography offers a non-invasive look at physiologic patterns in the body by measuring changes in skin-surface temperature. These patterns can help highlight areas associated with inflammation, circulation changes, muscular stress, breast health, and more.

From a functional wellness perspective, the goal is to look at the body as a whole, pay attention to patterns, and be proactive rather than waiting for symptoms to become bigger problems.

Your body is constantly giving you information. The question is… are you listening?

Think red on a thermogram is bad and blue is good? Not necessarily.

Red doesn’t necessarily mean something is bad, and blue or cooler areas don’t necessarily mean something is good. Certain areas of the body are naturally warmer, while others are naturally cooler. It’s the overall pattern and context that matter.

At Treasure Coast Thermography in Stuart, we look at symmetry, temperature differences, vascular patterns and changes over time. That’s why thermography is about much more than simply looking for a hot spot.

If you’re searching for Stuart thermography services or want to learn more about breast thermography or full-body thermal imaging, give me a call.

It’s my Thermography Birthday!

Hard to believe I’ve been working in thermography for almost a decade now! I’ve met so many amazing people along the way and I’m still just as passionate about what I do.

I’m so thankful for every person who has trusted me with their scan, referred a friend or family member, left a review, shared my posts or simply helped spread the word about thermography.

So much of my business has grown through word of mouth, and I never take that for granted. Thank you for continuing to support me and Treasure Coast Thermography. I truly appreciate every one of you!

If you’ve had a scan with me, you know I talk a lot about the lymphatic system! It’s something I commonly see on thermography, which is why I spend time educating my patients on simple things they can do at home to support healthy lymphatic drainage.

Here are a few easy places to start:

• Diaphragmatic breathing helps create a natural pumping action for lymph flow.

• Always open your lymphatic terminus first especially the left terminus, where the majority of your body’s lymph drains back into the bloodstream.

• Walk every day. Your muscles help pump lymph throughout the body.

• Spend 5–10 minutes on a vibration plate.

• Stay hydrated.

• Try dry brushing or gentle lymphatic massage. Remember, lymphatic massage uses very light pressure.

• Stretch your neck and shoulders throughout the day to encourage movement.

These are all simple habits that can be incorporated into your daily routine and may help support a healthy lymphatic system.

One of my favorite people to follow for lymphatic education is Dr. Caitlin Czezowski. I’m sharing one of her videos because she does an excellent job explaining simple techniques that anyone can do at home. If you’re interested in learning more about lymphatic drainage, I highly recommend giving her a follow!
