Ruthies Off C-Street Ruthie Russell opened her first bar on Commercial Street in the summer of 1980 at what is currently The Pizza House. She moved her bar to 400 E.

Commercial Street in 1983 where her daughter Jeannie ran it until the summer of 2017. Ruthie's granddaughter Samantha will carry on the legacy as a third generation bar owner on Commercial Street with Ruthies On C-Street located at 504 E. Commercial Street.
