To me, intentionality goes hand in hand with care. If you care about the work that you do, you’ll make thoughtful choices to bring about the results that you want. I find that living an intentional life comes with a lot of decided remembering - meaning making an effort to remember things that are important to yourself or others. Remembering someone’s name, a birthday, a promise you made, something worth celebrating, or something hard - then, making the choice to act on it. For the staff at Pilgrim, this looks like greeting you with your name, remembering how you like your coffee, bringing your drink to your table, gifting you a book because you mentioned you love to read, offering to pray for you as you share a struggle you face. I could share story after story of how our team exceeds in intentionality. Make someone’s day today by doing something with intentionality!
