some recognition just feels especially well deserved. this is one of those moments.

i’ve had the privilege of watching Lily grow into the barista she is today, and what makes me proudest isn’t just how good she is at what she does, but how much she genuinely cares about doing it well.

Lily, you deserve to be celebrated for the heart, skill, and care you bring to every cup. getting to build Kopani alongside you makes this recognition even sweeter.

to all the incredible baristas nominated this year, congratulations. Rochester is lucky to have so much talent behind its coffee bars.

three tastes of Indonesia, brought together through coffee, place + familiar flavor.

we begin in Sumatra

one of Indonesia’s most recognized coffee origins & a fitting place to begin the flight.

then East Java.

a different expression entirely. brighter, more playful & a glimpse at the range Indonesian coffee has to offer.

and because a taste of Indonesia extends beyond coffee: es cendol.

familiar flavors of pandan, coconut + palm sugar to close the flight.

kopi flight 001 debuts October 24 at The Siren and The Sea

9am–12pm, or until sold out · $15

on October 17, we’re gathering with our friends The Siren and The Sea for Goodnight Bloom, a guided cupping through three Kopani coffees. an invitation to slow down, taste closely, & discover a little more of what’s in your cup.

no coffee knowledge needed. just come curious. we’ll taste together.
