THE WAIT IS OVER. Tempest Artisan Coffee Bar opens Saturday, July 25, and we're celebrating all day and into the night, 6 AM to midnight. ☕

What you're walking into:
• Lattes with names like Dark Matter, Smoldering Bloom, and Banana Miso (trust us)
• Single-origin pour-overs for the true coffee lovers: Colombia El Paraiso, Costa Rica Bourbon Longberry
• Ceremonial-grade Uji matcha, traditional or latte
• Liège waffles from sweet to savory, including one topped with kimchi that you need in your life

Then at 5 PM:
• Coffee Cocktails, because it's your Saturday and we respect that
• Live music, because cocktail hour deserves a soundtrack

The espresso doesn't clock out when the cocktails clock in: coffee service runs all the way to midnight. Eighteen hours of great food and drinks in a space you'll want to linger at.

Come early, stay late, bring your people. The West Side finally has its coffee & cocktail bar.

Exciting news!! With an incredible team.

Some things start the way the best things always do: two friends, an obsession, and a question that wouldn't let them go.

Park and Zach didn't set out to open a coffee shop. They set out to make the perfect cup — and then kept going. Through late nights, failed experiments, and one idea that turned into a soon-to-be-patented invention, a vision started taking shape. A place built not just around coffee, but around craft. Around people. Around community.

But every vision has a missing piece.

Ours walked in the door in the form of Jonah, owner of Kingdom Coffee Company Roasters and culinary craftsman, who sees coffee the way a chef sees a plate. With Jonah alongside us, what was a dream between two friends became something we could actually build.

Tempest Artisan Coffee Bar is for the early morning regulars, the Mom-to-Mom playdates, the long lunch meetings, the first dates, the old friends catching up over something exceptional. We believe a great cup of coffee, or a perfectly crafted cocktail on a Thursday night, isn't just a drink. It's an experience. It's a moment. It's the kind of thing that makes a place feel like it’s yours.
