The Fiction Kitchen The Fiction Kitchen brings you the experience diners have been craving in downtown Raleigh: thoughtfully prepared vegan cuisine from a 100% vegan kitchen.

Creative and comforting food which is locally sourced and seasonally inspired, in an eclectic and ever-evolving atmosphere. Our 50 seat dining area consists of several small tables and 12 bar seats. We do not take reservations, with the exception of our Valentine's dinner, so parties are seated on a first come, first serve basis. We strongly encourage a heads up for parties between 6 and 8 people.

Our largest table accommodates a party of 8 so large parties are seated on a situational basis. Take out orders are available, except during peak business hours. Out of respect for our staff, our last seating is 15 minutes prior to close. The Fiction Kitchen is happy to offer the Triangle area affordable, fresh and delicious food and beverages which will appeal to vegans, vegetarians, and food-curious omnivores alike. Press:

Hey guys! We’re back with the specials this week 06.09.26! From our delicious Borscht Soup to our Farmers dish finished with chimichurri, we’ve got some good eats lined up for you 😋. If we run out of Lion’s mane steak on our Famers this week, we will switch to vegan shrimp 🍤 skewers 😌. Come in this week and get our specials while we still have them! And don’t be afraid to use our ubereats delivery if you want a lazy day at home sometime soon (Farmers unavailable for takeout at this time). Details about our dishes are in the photos above!

They are now PEACH tossed in cinnamon sugar.

It’s hot outside, but for those who agree, anytime is a good time for soup, Chef whipped up a cheddar potato for your brunch experience. And don’t worry, our AC works much better in our forever home.

The quiche features roasted broccoli and smoked carrot with mozzarella.
