With the first week of school officially over, it’s only fair that parents get a little chance to relax and recover this weekend. Congrats! You made it 😉

We’ve got a Parent’s Sunday Funday event TOMORROW 8/30 at Shami Cafe.

Sunday Funday is a chance for grownups to eat, drink, socialize, and actually relax while the kids are having a great time. Parents hang out in the indoor dining area while kiddos (ages 3+) enjoy supervised facilitated crafts and activities on our heated outdoor patio—a secured, designated event area.

They play, you actually get to finish a conversation…it’s a win-win.

Egyptian DJ, The Seamstress of Sound sews together warm eclectic tunes from around the world for your listening pleasure. She is a daughter of the Mediterranean and her first love and political teacher was hip hop.

The Seamstress’s digital DJ set at Shami Cafe will spotlight traditional and contemporary music from the SWANA region. Come spend the Golden Hour with us, yalla!

We’re closing to keep our team and community safe. The wind is shifting tonight, and we’ll reopen tomorrow.
