This past Tuesday, we had the honor of hosting Danny Meyer in celebration of his newest book, What Could Possibly Go Right?, for an engaging fireside conversation with M. Night Shyamalan. Two exceptionally talented creatives whose work and careers continue to inspire us.

A heartfelt thank you to Danny and M. Night for spending the evening with us, to our incredible team who brought the event to life, and to every guest who joined us for such a memorable night.

Congratulations to Danny on the release of his new book!

Twenty-nine years at Fork.

From the early days to the moments that have made headlines, Fork’s story has always been about more than what’s on the table. It’s about the people, relationships, and memories that have shaped nearly three decades in Philadelphia.

To our Old City neighbors, the families and friends who have gathered around our tables, our loyal regulars, and every member of our team, thank you for being part of our story. To our team, past and present, thank you for the holidays worked, the late nights, the long hours, and the countless times you went above and beyond to get the job done. Your dedication has helped make Fork what it is today.

We’re equally grateful to the local farmers, artisans, and purveyors who share our commitment to quality and have helped shape the food we serve over the years.

Your support, trust, and continued partnership have made this legacy possible. We’re proud of the community that has grown alongside us and look forward to what’s still to come.

Thank you for twenty-nine years of making Fork part of your story, too.

François de Nicolay brings a thoughtful approach to winemaking, shaped by his work at the storied Chandon des Brialles estate and his own commitment to exceptional sourcing.

We’re pleased to pour his Mâcon-Villages by the glass, a classic, elegant white Burgundy. Beautifully paired with our Green Circle Half Chicken.

On Sunday, October 25, we will welcome James Beard Award-winning Chef Alon Shaya (Chef Alon Shaya) for an evening centered around the release of his new cookbook, Memories of a Good Meal

Alon will join the Fork culinary team for a unique evening inspired by the stories and recipes behind the book, for an evening centered around food, memory, resilience and the transformative power of a good meal.

Alon is not only chef and cofounder of Pomegranate Hospitality, whose restaurants include Saba in New Orleans and Safta in Denver, but Alon spearheaded Rescued Recipes, a collaboration with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Holocaust survivor Steven Fenves to preserve and bring to life recipes from Fenves’ family cookbook. The project has since raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support the Museum’s preservation efforts.

Your ticket includes the four course dinner and a signed copy of Alon’s book. Specialty cocktails and our full beverage menu will be available throughout the evening. Tickets available at the link in bio.

As we approach our 29th year, Fork has been part of the fabric of Old City for nearly three decades.

Through the years, the neighborhood has changed, our kitchen has evolved, and our menu has continued to take new shape. What has remained is our connection to this place and the people who make it what it is.

Our cooking is a modern expression of the Mid-Atlantic, shaped by the seasons, the land, and the farmers, artisans, and purveyors who bring this region to our kitchen.

Their work begins long before anything reaches our table. It is in the way the soil is tended, the way ingredients are grown and preserved, and the care taken to bring the best of the region into season.

That work continues to inspire the way we cook, with a focus on seasonality, sustainability, and a true sense of place.

Three good reasons to meet us at our bar. 🍸

From left to right:

Nic - Admiral Mustard-brine made with mustard and caperberry, navy strength gin

Lowball - Summer Smash-mixed basil from the kitchen, muddled with our own citrus vodka

Redemption Arc - Rye, house amaro, apertivi, benedictine + black pepper. Inspired by an artichoke-based amaro made with extra artichoke trim from earlier this summer, now reimagined as a cocktail.
