On Friday, June 19th, Bayona invites you to step back in time for an extraordinary evening honoring one of New Orleans’ most influential historical figures, Baroness Micaela Almonaster de Pontalba.

Few people shaped the French Quarter quite like the Baroness. Her vision transformed Jackson Square and gave New Orleans the iconic Pontalba Buildings that still define the heart of our city today.

Just a short walk from those historic landmarks stands Bayona, housed in a beautifully preserved 200-year-old Creole cottage in the very neighborhood the Baroness helped shape. For one evening, history and hospitality come together as Chef Christy Engeran presents a six-course tasting menu inspired by the flavors, traditions, and spirit of 19th-century New Orleans.
