A cold case on Milwaukee’s West Side: In 2020, Maxie’s unceremoniously stopped serving their Southern cuisine on Sundays.

In the years since, the theories have been endless. Was this a seemingly common business decision? A simple case of staffing logistics? Or a profound conspiracy to keep people away from oysters? 🕵️‍♂️

It was a question without answers. Until now.

What a finish! 🏁

Our 19th Annual Derby Day was one for the record books. We are so proud to announce that together, we raised $18,221 to help Hunger Task Force provide healthy food for our neighbors in Milwaukee.
