#7- I no longer have to turn down the gifts & money from men, for the sake of being loyal to someone that always struggles financially & emotionally to function everyday for the family. You couldn’t pay me enough to marry again. I’m good!

After 20 years of marriage, that experience helped me realize how marriage is a liability and not a wise investment. I’ve been doing 200% better single.

Just because I have no car, a transmission to replace, shop for a new vehicle….that’s NOT going to stop me from enjoying my life, my favorite city and her bi-polar weather patterns. 😆💖😆💖

Four months ago, this man from Texas followed me to a food booth at Taste of Chicago and paid for me to stuff my face. 😆

We chatted, walked around, asked for my number…and he promised to surprise me one day.

Well, let’s just say, he called & FaceTimed a few times over these last 4 months, but I forgot about his promise. But guess what, he kept his word. 😳 Not only did he invest in my business, but he also blessed me with a little something toward my next vehicle. 🙏🏾❤️

Sometimes the surprise is in who shows up for you. 😉✨

😍No person is 100% healed. I’m not 100% healed, but none of the pain has paralyzed or stopped me from moving forward, living life, giving or receiving love. There are traumas we never completely heal from, because healing isn't linear.

😍We go backwards and forwards, up & down, and sometimes we're all over the place; but that's the process. Please don't think you need to be 100% healed to deserve love and good things in life, because you absolutely do.
Give that love to yourself first, without expecting, waiting or depending on someone else to give it to you.♥️

💛I’ve always understood the power of perspective. I learned early that preparation, perspective, mindset, and feeling behind that perspective will accelerate abundance in every area of life.

💛I first experienced it through winning three consecutive gymnastics state championships. Now, I’m simply learning how to make it happen faster. It’s a mental exercise necessary to do every day, every-time a negative thought enters your mind.

It was a private company, it didn’t do any good complaining because it wouldn’t get you anywhere. I just had to take it and out work them, which I did on most occasions. The owner hired me in less than 5 minutes & didn’t ask for a resume. I told him I could learn and that was an understatement.

I became one of the top electricians in the company of 40 experienced male electricians, outperforming more than 80% of them. Remember I didn’t go to trade school and had no prior experience. 😆 Women are dope!
