We are so honored to welcome a living legend to Marigold on Wednesday, February 4. Our dear friend, Jeffrey Alpert is making the schlep from New Jersey with armfuls of his amazing bounty to share with our Colorado wine community. So much can be said about his history as one of the real OG importers of incredible French “natural” wines, but I can’t write forever.
Jeffrey’s portfolio represents hundreds of years, stories, histories and poetry of vignerons who have strived for excellence while maintaining and in some cases defining the strong ecological and spiritual ethos of low to no intervention wine production.
He’s a real one, and a great human with a heart of absolute goddamn gold. You ought to be here when we get into it.
We are pouring flights with some of our faves; chapuis & chapuis - cloiseries des moussis - domaine accolades - petit bonhomme - chaume des lies - maison romane - morgan truchetet and of course Jean-François Ganevat.
There are a few fun twists and turns, a few off menu delights etc. Hope to see you there.
