Tonight’s night’s cooking class was one for the books. ❤️

We celebrated a birthday, cooked a menu full of fresh, simple ingredients, watched a storm roll across the valley, shared a little wine, and spent a few hours around the table together.

On the menu:
🍋 Lemon Parmesan Risotto
🐟 Brown Sugar Salmon
🐟 Parmesan Dill Lemon Salmon
🥗 Fresh Seasonal Salad
🫓 Easy Two-Ingredient Garlic Naan
🥕 Roasted Sheet Pan Vegetables with all the delicious finishing touches

And for dessert? A brand-new Cookie Butter Banana Cheesecake that may have just earned a permanent spot in the Chef Steph recipe collection. 😉

At the end of every class, I ask everyone for one word to describe their eveningTonight’s words were:

Breakfast is a big deal at our house.

Sometimes it’s a protein shake on the go. Sometimes it’s grabbing coffee while running out the door. But when we have time…we make something we love.

Even on early mornings when we head out first and circle back later to sit together for a bit…those moments matter. Honestly, they’re usually the best ones.

The second cup of coffee.
A warm breakfast.
A few quiet minutes before the next busy life thing begins.

Today was one of those mornings. And it was worth it… it always is. ❤️
