NCDOT is hosting public comment regarding tolling the cape fear memorial bridge in person tomorrow in Leland. (You can do it online from home)

The meeting will be held at:Leland Cultural Arts Center 1212 Magnolia Village Way, Leland, NC 28451

Doors Open / Open House: 4:30 PM
Formal Hearing & Presentation: 6:00 PM
Just like the Wilmington meeting, the doors open early for a pre-hearing open house where you can view project maps and talk directly with NCDOT representatives. Speaker registration opens at 4:30 PM if you want to sign up for a three-minute slot to provide formal public comment.

Oh my gosh it's happening!! Events are coming to Palouse. Starting with Book Club Social Thursday September 24th from 5:30-7:30pm. Rather than a Palouse book club we invite all book clubs and book lovers as well as authors to come join us and network with other likeminded bookworms. Meet local authors and new friends, give and receive recommendations, sip your favorite decaf or caffeinated beverage (we won't judge) and score special discounts and deals only available that night! We're really excited for the networking and can't wait for your to join.
