As Old Lāhainā Lūʻau and Nā Hoaloha ʻEkolu celebrate 40 years, we enter the next era with a new generation of leadership.
What began in Lāhainā with founders Michael Moore, Robert Aguiar, and Tim Moore has grown into a family of businesses ~ Old Lāhainā Lūʻau, Aloha Mixed Plate, Star Noodle, and Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop—and an ʻohana of employees and community partners who have shaped our story.
Through four decades of celebrations and extraordinary challenges, our commitment has remained the same: our people, our community, and Maui.
Today, we proudly welcome four longtime leaders with deep connections to Hawaiʻi as Managing Partners: Emer Rickard, Judee Mae Aki, Nicky Boskoff, and Kawika Freitas.
More than a leadership transition, this is a commitment to keeping Nā Hoaloha ʻEkolu locally owned and locally led, with its future rooted in the people, culture, and community that shaped it.
Our founders will remain actively involved in the company’s development, strategic direction, and long-term vision. Our foundation is strong, our values remain the same, and our commitment to Maui continues.
