Adoption 1168 – Taabi 🐾✈️❤️

Sometimes one meeting is all it takes.

A family stopped by before their flight home and instantly fell in love with Taabi. After returning to Idaho, they couldn’t stop thinking about him and knew he belonged with their family.

Thanks to our Fly Hawaii Cats program, we were able to quickly secure a flight to Seattle, along with a a flight volunteers and a foster home who helped complete his journey home.

A huge thank you to May, Helen, and Joanne for making this adoption possible. Because of your kindness and dedication, Taabi is now home with his forever family in Idaho, where he has been lovingly renamed Maui. ❤️

Congratulations to Maui and his new family! And thank you to the incredible village of volunteers who help make these happy endings possible every day. 🐾✈️🏡💕.

Adoption 1167 – Alex🐾✈️❤️

Sometimes the stars align perfectly.

A newlywed couple visiting from Chicago on their honeymoon stopped by and met baby Alex. It was love at first sight! They knew he belonged with them as their new son, but there was one problem—they were flying home the very next day on an airline that doesn’t allow cats.

We promised them we would find a way to get Alex home.

And within 24 hours, everything fell into place.

Thanks to Fly Hawaii Cats , we found a flight volunteer headed to Portland, an amazing foster willing to help in Portland, and then—thanks to the power of Reddit—a wonderful woman flying to Chicago to visit a friend who volunteered to complete the final leg of Alex’s journey.

Every piece of the puzzle came together.

Inspired by his incredible adventure and determination, his new family decided to rename him Koa, the Hawaiian word for “warrior” or “strong.” It couldn’t be more fitting. This brave little feline traveled thousands of miles, powered by kindness, teamwork, and a village of animal lovers.

Congratulations to Koa and his new family! ❤️

And congratulations as well to Koa’s new siblings, Marie and Leo, who will be his forever family .

Echo found his forever family all the way in Dallas, Texas! 🏡

His new family fell in love with him while visiting Maui, but there was one challenge: they were scheduled to fly home the next day on an airline that doesn’t allow cats from Hawaii.

Thankfully, the Fly Hawaii Cats village stepped in once again.

Echo joined Juno on a carefully coordinated journey through Seattle, where an amazing team of volunteers helped make the impossible possible. From volunteer flight escorts to foster care and the second leg of the trip, every person played a part in getting these two kittens safely home to their waiting families in Dallas.

A huge mahalo to Stephanie, Helen, and Gary for helping make this rescue mission a success. ❤️

Congratulations to Echo, his new family, and everyone who helped along the way. It truly takes a village to save lives, and this is a perfect example of what can happen when compassionate people come together for cats in need.

Adoption 1165 – Juno 🐾✈️❤️

Some adoptions are more than a happy ending—they become a rescue mission powered by an entire village.

When this wonderful couple met Juno, they instantly fell in love and knew he belonged with them in Dallas, Texas. There was just one problem: they were flying home that same night on an airline that doesn’t allow cats.

For many kittens, that could have been the end of the story.

But not for Juno.

Our team got creative and found a flight through the Fly Hawaii Cats program to Seattle. We had volunteers willing to help, but we still had no way to get Juno from Seattle to Dallas. So we turned to our community and posted a plea on Reddit.

Then something amazing happened.

A stranger stepped forward to help.

The very next day, another kitten was adopted to Texas, allowing both kittens to travel the same route together. What started as one adoption became an even bigger rescue mission.

A huge mahalo to Stephanie for flying Juno from Maui to Seattle, to Helen for welcoming the kittens overnight in Seattle and keeping them safe, loved, and ready for the next leg of their journey, and to Gary for becoming the final hero in this story—escorting these precious babies on their flight to Dallas and helping reunite them with their waiting families.

Juno’s journey is a reminder that saving lives doesn’t happen because of one person. It happens because compassionate people say “yes” when help is needed.

From Maui to Seattle to Dallas, every volunteer, every flight, every act of kindness helped turn hope into home.

Congratulations, Juno. Your family was waiting for you all along. ❤️🏡🐱
