Serving BBQ the "Goode way." Everybody loves an original, and you're not likely to find too many things more original than this.
(1844)

It would be an understatement to call the Goode Company Barbeque on Kirby a Houston institution. It's a tradition that has stood the test of time. Over the years, Goode Company Barbeque has developed quite a reputation around town. It's honest Texas-style Mesquite Smoked BBQ prepared the "right way" - by hand, using time-tested recipes and the best ingredients. Goode Company BBQ has served countless plates of savory, mesquite-smoked barbeque to Houstonians for more than 35 years (and counting). We take pride in what we do, make everything from scratch and stay true to the Goode family’s recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. From our beef brisket or spicy pork— to our homemade jalapeño cheese bread, we serve BBQ the “Goode way." "You might want to give some serious thought to thanking your lucky stars you're in Texas." Goode BBQ starts with good people. Meet our newest one. 🔥

We’re excited to welcome Drew Lindsey to Goode Co. Barbeque as our new Multi-Unit Pitmaster.
His story started cooking BBQ with his dad in the backyard and has taken him through some of Texas’ most respected pits. Now, Drew is bringing everything he’s learned to Goode Co.—leading our pit crews, developing new dishes, and helping us carry the tradition forward.

Around here, barbeque is about more than smoke and brisket. It’s about the people you share it with.

Give Drew a warm Houston welcome next time you're in!

Catch him representing at the Houston BBQ Showdown on September 20 at !
