A little maximalist vegetarian bakery in downtown Helena❤️105 E 6th Avenue ❤️ plenty of vegan and/or gluten-free options ❤️We do not respond to FB messages, sorry! I make cookies, breads, cakes, crackers, and more. The name "Dear Potato" came from my food blog that I created to share my vegetarian recipes and quickly developed to being the name of my very own bakery. I eat a lot of potatoes and also call the loved ones in my life "potatoes" as a term of endearment. It's a common misconception that everything I bake is made from potatoes. I just like the name for various reasons. You can find me at the farmers' market twice weekly or at the occasional pop-up in Helena. Like & follow my page for updates and check out my Instagram for even more fun. Oh, and I'm always accepting custom orders. Need a cake? I've gotcha.

Good morning, Helena! 💕

Unfortunately we’ve noticed a pretty steady decline in sales at the shop. Maybe it’s the economy, the smoke, the surplus of new lunch spots downtown (we’re excited about this though!), or just maybe you’re tired of us (but that’s not it, right?!). Regardless of what it is, we need to try a new way of operating for the sake of staying in business.

Ultimately, we think we’re offering too much each day and a lot is going to waste so we’re going to cut back, focus on what is selling (and what days), and offer daily menus to entice y’all to come in for the items that you want. Some good ol’ fashioned bribery might be what’s best for business!

Some of y’all might hate this but some of y’all might love it so we’re going to give it a whirl. Ultimately, it’s going to help us cut back on waste and help us keep our costs low.

Additionally, we will be slowly getting back to being open 7 days a week. Keep an eye out for our special menu on Tuesday 😉

Love you all! Thanks for the continued support and for dealing with our bu****it 💕
