Matcha has been on the menu, but we still get surprised by how many people don’t know we offer it. 💚

Whether you like it iced, blended, sweetened up a bit, or kept simple, matcha is a great option when you’re looking to switch things up from your usual coffee order!

One thing we never take for granted is the team behind the counter. 🤎

Summers in Hayward are busy. The days are long, the coffee is flowing, and there are plenty of mornings when the line is out the door before most people have finished their first cup.

None of it happens without an incredible team.

We’re so grateful for the people who show up early, work hard, greet customers with a smile, and help make Backroads feel like home for both locals and visitors all summer long.

If you see one of our crew members this week, be sure to say thank you. We’re lucky to have them, and we know our community is too. ☕️
