Chocolate Update from West’s Hayward Dairy 🍦

If you’ve heard about the global chocolate shortage on your favorite news program 📺, you know cocoa prices have skyrocketed due to severe droughts in the regions where cocoa is grown 🌍☀️.

Like every ice cream shop, chocolatier, and candy maker dealing with this reality, we’ve had to adjust pricing on our chocolate-based flavors to keep up 📈.

We just wanted to be upfront 💛 about why you’ll notice a difference in our chocolate pricing this summer.

The good news? 🙌
We’re still making everything from scratch the same way we always have, using real chocolate ingredients 🍫🥄—so you’ll continue to enjoy your favorite rich, real chocolate flavors.

We kicked off the season with the best kind of start—the Lursen Family as our very first customers of the year ❤️

Boy went with Cookie Monster, little cutie pie chose Black Raspberry, and mom & dad treated themselves to a Turtle Sundae… safe to say, it was a sweet beginning!
