Candlelight Walk is just one week away, December 5! Kick off the holiday season with one of Golden’s most beloved traditions—community, glowing candles, and festive cheer all along Washington Avenue.

The walk begins at 6:30 p.m. at the top of the hill at 15th and Washington, followed by a performance series from local favorites around 6:50 p.m., and capped off with the magical lighting of downtown Golden.

Pick up your commemorative candle at Baby Doe’s, Commemorative Candle Sponsor, this week, or bring cash to purchase from local nonprofits the night of the event (suggested donation $3).

Make travel easy with our FREE warm shuttles running 5:00–9:00 p.m. from The Splash at Fossil Trace (3151 Illinois St.):
• 5:00–7:00 p.m.: Splash → 18th & Washington
• 7:00–9:00 p.m.: American Mountaineering Center (710 10th St.) → Splash

Note: Ore Cart service ends early at 4:00 p.m. due to closures on Washington.
