T-8 days! 🇩🇪🍻🥳 Join us for Freeport’s FOURTH Annual Kölsch-ish Night on Thursday, May 14th! We’re celebrating the release of Dizzy Spell, our take on the German Kölsch. We say “ISH” because it’s an Almost Kolsch. It’s Kolsch-ish. It’s a Kolsch lookalike. Why? Because we’re in MAINE, not GERMANY! Duh! Anyways, Ben and the rest of the kitchen are going to be making some seriously great German-ish specials to complement the traditional tableside tray service, which means $4 tableside stanges of Dizzy Spell starting at 5pm. Swing through for a traditional-ish Germanic beer hall experience next week…. and get some notches on that coaster of yours.

Dizzy Spell // “Almost Kölsch” // 5% ABV
Dizzy Spell, our Kölsch-inspired ale. We brew Dizzy with local Pilsner and Wheat malt, Hallertau + Crystal hops, and Kolsch yeast, and lightly dry-hop with Crystal before a long period of lagering. Dizzy Spell is quenchingly dry and fruity, with rich crackery malt, and a pleasant, citric drinkability. It’s a beer we look forward to sharing each year in the spring time.
