Wow. We’ve REALLY been feeling the biscuit love. 🥹🧡

This has been one of our busiest weeks since 2021. Seriously. Thank you so much for showing up for us.

You all came out in such force that we actually ran out of buttermilk AND flour. 😂

And a huge thank you to the wonderful folks who came to our rescue and helped us restock so we could keep the biscuits coming.

We’re feeling very, very loved. 🧡

Well, this is a hard one to write.

I can’t really think of anything profound to say, so here goes.

After 5 1/2 years, Preservation Biscuit Company will be closing its doors at the end of September.

When we opened, we had no idea what the next five and a half years would look like. We just wanted to make really good biscuits and build something special in Falls Church. Somehow, we got to do exactly that.

There are so many people who have been part of Preservation along the way — our staff, our regulars, our neighbors, the people who brought their families in on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and everyone who told someone, “You have to try this biscuit place.”

Thank you. Really.

We’ll be here through Sunday, September 27, making biscuits and probably getting a little emotional about all of it.
