Yes, it's true. Alan and I have spent the past year searching for the perfect buyers to take over the coffee shop, and we finally found them! We are so excited to announce that Andrew and Renee Renken are the new owners of EverBean By the Lake. We are confident that they will do AMAZING things and take EverBean to the next level.

The past 13 years, plus one day, have truly been an amazing chapter in our lives. We are so proud of what we have done with the coffee shop. We made it a place where friends could gather, sometimes on a daily basis. A place to gather to celebrate happy times. And a place to gather with friends to console one another in sad times. And always a place to bring all of the doggies! 🐾

Over the years we have survived some big events...the flood of 2013, COVID, the car on the patio 2 winters ago, and the break-in last fall. We could not have done it alone. We have lots of people to thank for our success. First, we are so thankful for the entire Evergreen community. You have all made us what we are today. Thank you for your support all these years, especially during the uncertainties of COVID. It was because of all of you that we made it through that. We have made some AMAZING friends over the years, and we are looking forward to continuing these friendships. We will definitely miss seeing you on a daily basis.

We also want to thank all of the amazing, wonderful employees that we have had the pleasure of working with over the years. Your hard work and dedication to EverBean made our little coffee shop the success that it is today. You are in our hearts forever, and we look forward to continuing many of those relationships throughout the rest of our lives. 💕

So now it is time for us to move on to the next chapter in our lives... RETIREMENT! We will certainly miss you all, but we won't be far away. We plan on staying in Evergreen. You might even find us hanging out on the EverBean patio with our doggie Buzz.

So please welcome Andrew and Renee, along with their General Manager Taylor Crumm. They are going to be AMAZING!!🎉🎊

We are thrilled to be the new owners of EverBean by the Lake ! We are Andrew and Renee Renken and we cannot wait to meet and see you all at the store very soon!! Thank you to all who have already been so kind and welcoming in our first week ☕️

We are so thankful for Alan and Cheryl who are helping us with this exciting transition and wish them nothing but the very best in retirement ♥️🎉

Great news!! Our power is back on! We just need a little time to get things put back together. We will plan on opening by 8:00 am this morning.
