At Creekside Cellars, we celebrate the relationship of good food and good wine shared with family and friends

A hobby begun in the early 1980s turned into a family business for Bill and Anita Donahue and their son, Tim. Anita and her Italian family cultivated the Donahue's deep appreciation for the sharing of wine and food with family and friends. We opened our doors to the public in 2000, the day after Thanksgiving, and in 2002 we planted our own vineyard in Palisade, Colorado, called Vinelands. More than a winery, Creekside Cellars doubles as an Italian café featuring an outdoor deck overhanging Bear Creek. We pride ourselves in offering excellent wine and food to share among good people. Creekside is a special destination for a lunch of panini sandwiches…or to linger over one of our famous antipasto platters with a bottle of wine and the company of friends and loved ones. 🍇 It’s harvest time at Creekside!
If you’ve been out and about this week, you’ve probably seen us crushing grapes all week long! It’s been such a fun and exciting time learning the process from our w**emaker, and getting to see everything that goes into making the w**e from the very beginning.

Harvest is a busy season around here, but we’re loving every minute of it. There’s something pretty special about watching the grapes go from the vineyard to the w**ery and knowing there’s a whole lot more to come. 💜

It’s almost been a week since the 35th Anniversary Colorado Mountain W**efest!

We had such a blast meeting all of you w**e lovers in Colorado w**e country and sharing such a fun weekend right in the middle of harvest season.

Safe to say, Malbec was the weekend’s best seller!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, shared a glass, and especially to all of our new w**e club members! We can’t wait to share everything we have in store for you.

We had the most amazing time visiting our vineyard, The Vinelands, in Palisade!

There’s something so special about seeing every part of the process, from the grapes growing on the vine to the w**e that eventually makes its way into your glass at Creekside! We love our grapes, and we love knowing exactly where they come from.

A huge thank you to John Garlich for your constant hospitality and for always making us feel at home at The Vinelands. We’re so grateful for you and for the beautiful grapes you help us turn into w**e! 🍇⛰️🍷
